Ringba’s home page calls it an inbound call tracking and analytics platform “for marketers, brands, and pay per call.” It lists call routing and load balancing, IVR, a private real-time bidding marketplace called Ring Tree, AI and analytics, call monitoring for compliance flags and caller data enrichment. It says it serves digital agencies, pay-per-call operators and global brands.
That is a strong fit for an insurance lead generator that sells calls to buyers. It is more than an agency needs if it only wants to know which campaign rang its own phone. VereTel is built for that narrower job. If you buy or sell calls, read our page on insurance lead generation and then look hard at Ringba.

| Number insertion (DNI) | Not confirmed on the pages we read | One script tag. A number is assigned per site and per page, not per visitor. Falls back to your published number if anything fails. |
| Trial, setup fee and term | The pricing page says “No contracts or setup fees.” A trial is not mentioned. | A free account (sample calls and a website test tag, no VereTel phone number), not a time-limited trial. No setup fee. Month to month. Cancel online at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. Annual prepay is two months free, on request. |
| Set-up model | Not covered on the pages we read | Self-serve: you create an account yourself; once you choose local numbers you pick the line each forwards to and label each source, and we help if you ask. VereTel buys the numbers on its own carrier account. Number-level forwarding at the carrier to your existing line. You sign in to a desk with a call list. |
At small volumes a per-minute model and a flat-plan model land in different places. Price your own call volume against both before you decide.
When Ringba is the better choice
- You buy or sell calls and need routing, bidding or partner management.
- You need IVR, load balancing or performance-based routing across many destinations.
- You want recording and transcription priced per minute, available now.
- You want per-minute pricing that scales with usage rather than a flat plan.
- You want a lower Professional per-minute rate at volume and a published annual discount.
When VereTel fits
- You are an agency measuring your own ads, not trading calls. Start with what call tracking is.
- You want a single monthly price with minutes and numbers included. See pricing.
- You do not want to design routing. Each number forwards to one line at the carrier, so there is nothing to configure.
- You want a plain list of calls, filterable by date and by answered or missed.
VereTel does not judge or route call quality, and it does not offer AI. It also does not yet record calls. See measuring cost per call for what you can work out from a call list.
Common questions
Is Ringba only for pay-per-call?
Ringba’s home page describes its platform as for marketers, brands and pay-per-call, and says it serves digital agencies as well. Whether it suits your agency depends on the features you need.
Does Ringba offer a free trial?
A trial is not mentioned on the pricing page we read. Ask Ringba directly. VereTel has a free account rather than a trial, with sample calls and a website test tag but no VereTel phone number; it has no setup fee and is month to month.
Which has cheaper recording?
Ringba publishes recording at $0.01 or $0.005 per minute depending on plan. VereTel does not record calls yet.
