What we check
- Call records are arriving on time. The carrier reports each call to VereTel as it happens. We check that those reports are processed promptly and are not piling up unprocessed.
- No call is left open. A call that started should end. We look for calls that never received their final report.
- Every leg is metered. Each leg of each call should be counted once for minutes and billing. We look for legs that were missed and compare what was metered against what was used.
Who is alerted
These checks alert VereTel’s own team, not yours. They exist so that a problem in our pipeline is found and fixed on our side. If something affects your calls or your desk, we contact you.
Why billing is part of monitoring
Your plan’s forwarded minutes are counted from the same call records that fill your desk. Checking that every leg is metered once protects the accuracy of your call log and of your bill at the same time.
What monitoring is not
This is operational monitoring by VereTel. It is not an uptime guarantee, and it does not alert your team directly. For how calls are connected in the first place, see call forwarding at the carrier.
