About VereTel
What does VereTel do?
VereTel gives a business tracking numbers, one per source, forwards the calls to its existing line at the carrier, and logs every call in its own desk with the source it came from. You create a free account yourself, and pay only when you choose a number.
Who is VereTel for?
Any business that pays for advertising to make the phone ring: local services, professional practices, insurance agencies, and the call teams that answer for them. The industry guides on this site are written for insurance agencies so far.
Who runs VereTel?
VereTel LLC, a Florida company. The service is hosted in the United States.
Numbers and forwarding
What kind of numbers do I get?
Numbers are local, in an area code you choose where one is available. Toll-free numbers on Starter and up are on request: talk to us, and we will tell you what is possible. Once you have paid, VereTel buys the number for you on its own carrier account. Numbers are not on sale yet. Create a free account and ask to be told when they are.
Do I keep my current phone number?
Yes. Tracking numbers forward to the line you already answer; your main number keeps working as before.
Can I move my existing numbers to VereTel?
Not at launch. Moving (porting) numbers is not available yet. Tell us about the numbers you use today and we will discuss your plans.
Where does forwarding happen?
At the phone carrier. Each tracking number is set to forward to the line you choose; our website and desk are not in the path of the conversation.
Can different numbers ring different lines?
Yes. Each tracking number forwards to one line, and you choose the line for each number.
The desk
What does the desk show?
Every call to your tracking numbers: when it started, the caller’s number, the number dialed with its source label, whether it was answered and how long it lasted. Each call opens to its full timing and legs.
Are missed calls logged?
Yes. Filter the list to missed calls to see who to call back.
How do I sign in?
On the VereTel sign-in page, with your email address and your password. If your company gave you a direct sign-in link, use that link. Forgot your password? If you created your account online, you can reset it by email.
Can my team share one account?
Not yet. An account has one sign-in today, and adding teammates is coming.
Does VereTel record or transcribe calls?
Not yet. Call recording, transcription and reports are coming. We do not give dates for unfinished features.
Does VereTel connect to my CRM?
No. VereTel does not offer CRM integrations.
Pricing and billing
Is it free?
Creating an account is free: you need an email address, not a card. A free account has sample calls in your desk, a test tag for your website and the ROI calculator. You pay only when you choose a phone number.
How much does VereTel cost?
A free account costs nothing. Paid plans: Solo $19.99 (1 number, 250 minutes); Starter $79 (3 numbers, 1,000 minutes); Growth $199 (10 numbers, 3,000 minutes); Scale $399 (25 numbers, 7,500 minutes). Extra minutes are $0.06 each. An extra number is $5 a month on Starter, Growth and Scale. Solo is one number: for more, choose a larger plan. Numbers are not on sale yet. Create a free account and ask to be told when they are.
What happens if I go over my minutes?
Minutes beyond your plan’s are $0.06 each, up to a total of 3 times the minutes your plan includes in a month. Each plan also has a daily limit on forwarded minutes. At either limit forwarding can be paused, until the next day for the daily one. The limits protect your account from a runaway bill.
Is there a setup fee or contract?
No setup fee, and monthly plans have no minimum term. Month to month. Cancel online at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. Annual prepay, two months free, is on request: talk to us.
Is there a free trial?
Not a trial of calls. A free account has sample calls, a website test tag and the ROI calculator, but no VereTel phone number, so no real calls. You pay once you choose a number.
What is the founding-customer offer?
The first 10 customers that sign up by December 31, 2026 keep their plan price for 24 months, and we build their tracking-number plan with them. To ask for it, mention it on the Talk to us form.
Security and data
Can other customers see my calls?
No. Each customer has its own desk and sign-in, and PostgreSQL row-level security keeps each customer’s calls apart in the database.
Is VereTel HIPAA compliant or SOC 2 certified?
VereTel does not claim HIPAA compliance and has not completed a SOC 2 or similar audit. We answer security questionnaires factually.
Getting started
How do I sign up?
Create a free account with your email address on the VereTel sign-up page, and confirm it from your inbox. You choose your own password, and a few short setup questions follow. There is no approval and no demo. It takes minutes, and we help if you ask.
Do I need a demo?
No. A demo is optional. If you would rather talk first, book one or use the Talk to us form.
What happens when I choose a number?
You pay, and not before: a free account does not ask for a card. Numbers are not on sale yet. Create a free account and ask to be told, and we will email you when they are.
What do I need to do during setup?
Choose your sources and where calls should ring, put each tracking number in its ad or mailer, and, for your website, add one script tag. If you would rather have help with any of it, ask us.
