VereTel’s plan prices are published now. Numbers are not on sale yet. Create a free account and ask to be told when they are.
CTM’s home page describes call tracking with dynamic number insertion and call recording with transcription, an “AskAI” conversation intelligence feature, “VoiceAI” voice agents, text messaging, and integrations including Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot and Salesforce, plus an API, Zapier and Make. It positions itself as an omnichannel platform for inbound and outbound teams.
VereTel does none of the outbound or AI work. It is for an agency that wants labeled local numbers, forwarding to its existing line and a call list. The two products overlap only at the basic job of telling you which source a call came from.

A CTM bill has more parts than a VereTel bill, so the comparison only works with your own volumes. Ask CTM for its number and minute rates, which its pricing page does not print.
When CallTrackingMetrics is the better choice
- You want recording, transcription and conversation analysis in the same tool.
- You run an outbound or high-volume contact center that needs text, voice agents and routing beyond simple forwarding.
- You need an API, Zapier or Make so call data reaches other systems automatically. VereTel has none of these today.
- You manage many client accounts. CTM lists sub-accounts on its plans; VereTel gives each customer one desk and has no sub-accounts. See data separation.
- You want a contract discount for committing to one or two years.
When VereTel fits
- You want a price you can read in one line, including what an extra minute or number costs. See pricing.
- You only need to see, for each call, when it came in, who called, which number was dialed, whether it was answered and how long it lasted. That is the desk.
- You do not want to run a phone platform. VereTel buys the numbers on its own carrier account and forwards them to your existing line.
- You work in insurance and want language and examples that match, such as ACA and Medicare campaigns.
If your team needs any of the AI, messaging or integration features above, choose a platform that has them today.
Common questions
Is CTM’s pricing on its website?
Plan prices are published at ctm.com/plans-pricing. Per-number and per-minute rates are described as volume-based and were not stated on that page when we checked, so confirm them with CTM.
Does VereTel have AI features like CTM?
No. VereTel has no AI features, no recording and no transcription today. Recording and transcription are coming, with no date given.
Which is simpler to set up?
That is a matter of what you need. With VereTel you create an account, choose your numbers and the line each forwards to, and add one tag to your site for number insertion; we help if you ask. CTM offers more configuration, and lists professional services as an add-on.
