Terms of service, version 2026-09-30

These terms govern your use of veretel.com and of VereTel’s call tracking service. The service is provided by VereTel LLC, a Florida company (“VereTel”, “we”). If you use the service on behalf of a business, you agree to these terms for that business (“you”). A signed order or agreement with us takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.

1. The service

VereTel provides toll-free tracking numbers that forward calls to lines you choose, a web desk that logs tracked calls, and a website script that displays tracking numbers on pages you register. We describe the service as it currently works on our features page. We may improve or change the service; we will not remove a core part of it during a paid period without notice.

2. Accounts

Accounts are created by VereTel. You are responsible for the people you ask us to give access to, for keeping sign-in details confidential and for telling us promptly when someone should lose access.

3. Tracking numbers

Tracking numbers are held on VereTel’s carrier account and are provided for your use while you are a customer. Moving (porting) numbers into or out of VereTel is not currently offered. Before your service ends, we will discuss with you what happens to numbers you have published.

4. Fees and billing

• Plans are billed monthly in advance, or yearly in advance for annual plans, at the prices on our pricing page or in your order.
• Forwarded minutes beyond your plan’s monthly pool are billed at $0.06 per minute, and extra tracking numbers at $5 per number per month, unless your order says otherwise. A minute is one started minute of a forwarded call.
• Prices exclude taxes, which are added where they apply.
• We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days’ notice. Annual plans keep their price for the prepaid year, and founding-customer pricing is honored for the period stated in its offer.

5. Cancellation

Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice to info@veretel.com. Annual plans run for the prepaid year. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it.

6. Your responsibilities

• Use the service in line with our acceptable use policy and all laws that apply to you, including advertising, telemarketing and consumer protection laws and any rules for marketing in your industry (for example, insurance marketing rules).
• Make sure your advertising, and the way you contact people who call you, is lawful. VereTel forwards and logs calls; it does not make marketing calls for you.
• Give us accurate information about where calls should be forwarded.

7. Your data

Call details processed for your business belong to your business. We use them to provide, secure and bill for the service, and as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell them or share them with other customers.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service running and monitor it continuously, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service depends on telephone carriers and internet providers that we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these terms, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, VereTel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or business, and VereTel’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify VereTel against third-party claims arising from your advertising, your use of the service in breach of these terms or the law, or the way you contact people who call you.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end the service if you breach these terms or the acceptable use policy, if fees are unpaid after notice, or if the law or our carrier requires it. Where we can, we will give notice first.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
